About me

About me

I’m a native English-speaking counsellor based in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m British-Croatian and neurodivergent (combined ADHD and gifted), and I’ve always been interested in the ways people make sense of themselves, each other and the world around them.

I’ve worked and studied in psychology, mental health and wellbeing since 1995, and have been working in private practice as a counsellor since 2010. Before that, I worked as an outreach and school counsellor. These days, I work one-to-one with teenagers and adults.

I also work as a clinical supervisor, with experience in both individual and group peer supervision since 2020.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I work within their Code of Ethics. I have current insurance to practice counselling and supervision with clients around the world, and my registered VAT (MOMS) number in Sweden is SE770116138701.

What areas do I work with?

I’m particularly interested in what happens when you feel different – whether that’s because of culture, neurodivergence, identity, relationships, or simply the way your brain and body experience the world.

I work with neurodivergence including ADHD, autism, PDA/demand avoidance, giftedness and sensory sensitivities, as well as questions around gender and sexual identity, relationships, mental health, culture, faith and belonging.

I also work with the big transitions and turning points in life – the times when what used to make sense no longer quite does. This might include:

  • Exploring who you are, including gender or sexual identity, neurodivergence, menopause or andropause, and the complexities of being a twin
  • Marriage, parenthood, separation or relationship breakdown
  • Birth, loss, death and the end of life
  • Changes in faith, belief or your sense of meaning and purpose
  • Those times when life feels uncertain, overwhelming or simply no longer fits

Sometimes these changes can leave you asking some pretty big questions: Who am I now? What happened to the life I thought I was going to have? Where do I fit? What is the point of all this?

I’m comfortable sitting with those questions, and with any of the emotions that come along with you.
